During the initial quarantine of 2020 Laura Jane started writing and recording from her home studio. She started writing with friend and neighbor Teiji Malkine aka DJ Teiji. The duo have created a body of work the truly represents the mood and vibe of the lockdown, vibe , ambient, trippy and thoughtful lyrics. Eye in the Sky is about death or the rapture or both.
